He has 13 Years at Sea out of which two stints in command on oil tanker and 12 years as DPA, Head of Shore Contingency Team, Fleet Personnel, Safety & Quality, Vetting and Operations Manager for passenger ships, tankers and other cargo Ships, carrying out office administration and reporting to Managing Director.

- Ship recycling monitoring expert
- Consultant to shipping companies for ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO, Quality, safety

- Carries out pre-vetting, audits and inspection for the company fleet in tandem with requirements of SHELL, EXXON, PETRONAS, ENOC and other oil major approvals
- Assist company management to implement TMSA requirements and accreditation
- Carries out supervision of cargo and various surveys for Insurance & PnI.
He has championed the cause of ship recycling in Alang as yard owner consultant and tanker operations at various seminars including that conducted by Trade Winds, ACI, Tanker Operator, Shipping Tribune, AICON, Littoral and other such forums and handled media as a DPA to a ship management company for 12 years.
He supports NGO's like Ratnanidhi Trust and E-Vidyalok with his dedicated service for enhancing child education from needy families.
